Every woman who’s had her life flipped upside down has a story. And if you’ve ever found yourself wondering, “Is this really it?”, you’re not alone.
We’re often told to follow a plan: go to school, build a career, settle down, and one day, maybe, get to enjoy life. But what happens when the plan unravels? What happens when a relationship ends, and you're left staring at a life that no longer fits?
If you’ve ever felt stuck in survival mode, just going through the motions, you’re not broken.
You’re standing at the beginning of your next chapter.
I know this, because I’ve lived it.
From Rock Bottom to Reclaiming My Life
For a long time, I believed life was mostly suffering with the occasional weekend break.
You work. You do what needs to be done. You wait to be happy… someday.
Then life laughed in my face and handed me single motherhood. Overnight.
The picture-perfect life I had planned was gone. I found myself in a dark place, mentally, emotionally, spiritually. Suicidal thoughts crept in. I didn’t want to get out of bed. I didn't know how to move forward.
The only thing that kept me going was a quiet, voice reminding me I had two children who depended on me for everything. Even milk.
One morning, I missed my train by seconds - and something inside me broke open. I stood on the platform, crying uncontrollably, thinking:
This can't be what life is supposed to feel like.
That moment didn't fix my life.
But it changed the direction of it.
Choosing to Feel Alive Again
I didn’t decide to fix everything overnight. I decided to find a way to feel alive again.
No one was coming to rescue me. It was on me now.
So I started small:
Creating gentle routines
Reading again
Letting myself imagine a future I actually wanted
I followed the small sparks — the moments that made me feel like me again.
That’s how Reclaim Your Life was born.
And so was my mantra:
✨ Live. Dream. Grow. ✨
A Simple Framework for Reclaiming Your Life
If you’re navigating heartbreak, burnout, or a major life transition, here’s a simple way to begin — without pressure or perfection.
Live
Be honest. Where were you emotionally, mentally, or physically when everything changed?
Dream
What did you quietly wish for when you realized something had to change — even if it felt impossible?
Grow
What small steps helped you begin healing and moving forward?
You don’t need a polished story or a dramatic transformation.
People don’t connect with perfection — they connect with truth.
